Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I am retired military (US Army) Divorced (State of Maryland) 1st wife in 1994. I pay to the ex wife no support. It was in our decree. I have since remarried. My question is, does my ex wife have any legal claim to any insurance policies that I may take out after the divorce. The beneficiary is my current wife for the policy.

Hello. I agree with other answers...no, she has no interest in post judgment acquired property. The only exception would be if your final judgment specifically states an interest in your property. Tom R.
