Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My rights for child support and allymony!

I filled for a divorce in October '04 I still do not receive child support or allimony. I had to deal with domestic violence, my husband is out of the house since last month. Before he would pay back a receipt for groceries and that is it. I have to pay my car off $974.00/month, pay for gas+everything else. I live in a $3.500.000 home with 1 minor child and 2 adult sons. I am from Belgium never worked in the states! (got a US passport) But I have no experience so I cannot find a job tha pays more then $9.00/hour. My husband does not allow me in the our office where I use to work a few hours a week. I am vice-president of that company. I have no income, no relatives to support me. He does not give money to our children for cloths or food. He still lives the normal luxuries life. My attorney is working on the case but it is all taking forever, WHAT are my rights I use to live a life style of spending $20.000.00 / month now I cannot take my kids out for a nice meal. You tell me ''what are my rights'' of living a lifestyle like this for 25 years and being married for 15 years and living in the states for 11 years and then being threatened like this.

thank you,--name removed--Mottie

Re: My rights for child support and allymony!

Your attorney should have filed a motion for temporary child support and alimony a long time ago. They may have done that and are waiting for a hearing date. Remind them you need the $ to live RIGHT NOW. YOu are elligible for both temp alimony ad temp child support.
