Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

What are your rights if you have half legal custudy

My husband has half legal but not physical custody of his 2 minor children. Even though they have lived with him and myself fo 5 years. Their mother took them to Florida from Georgia for a visit and is now saying they are going to live there with her. Does he have any rights at all here?

Due to some fairly recent changes in Georgia Law, your husband may have the right to seek a modification of custody. Also, that challenge would be properly made in the courts in Georgia since your husband still lives here and he was divorced in Georgia. I would suggest that he contact a lawyer as soon as possible to discuss in detail all of the facts and cicumstances of his situation to determine if he should go forward with some modification of custody.
