Rights as a parent

In the state of Florida, do i have the right to be on my sons birth certificate even though the mother is against it

There's no "right" to be on a birth certificate, but when you file your paternity case to get custody or visitation, you can ask that the birth certificate be amended to show you as the father. It's a pretty basic request and almost always granted.
