Re: who has rights to search birth certificate of child

A parent, guardian, spouse, child, grandchild, sibling, or lawyer of any person can order that person's birth certificate from the State, so long as the person was not adopted. Otherwise, anyone can go to the county of birth and look at the birth certificate.
