Sale of a home/rights to proceeds

My husband aND I have been separated for 6 months. The family home has been sold and the proceeds are in escrow. Do I have a right to half the proceeds, since my name was on the mortgage and deed also?

Technically, yes. But, you may first have to work some things out in a settlement depending on the actions already taken. If you need some of the proceeds to live on and you are not able to get that just by asking, you can go through the courts to request some of that money as temporary support or advanced equitable distribution.
