Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Sale of house
My ex-husband and I agreed to divide the proceeds of our house as follows: he gets 60 percent and I get 40 percent. My question is: Do I have to pay 50 percent of the closing costs at the closing, as my ex is demanding, or do I pay 40 percent? There is nothing in the final judgement that spells out percentages at the closing.

Florida Law - Your final judgment should have included this but since it doesn't you could agree to pay an amount or have attorney's hash it out again. It would be easier for you to try and come to an agreement and be done with it already. The choice is yours.
