Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I separated from my wife, not divorced yet. We have a 4 yr. old kid and one soon to be born. I am living outside the US, I write her checks every month, but she doesn't even answer my calls to talk to my kid. She only does when she needs money. I don't intend for full custody but at least the right to see him when I am go visit and talk to them in a regular basis. What can I do?

File a petition for visitation, child support and custody.
