Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Separation
If I separated from my husband and left our house, would it have any negative ramifications should we decide to divorce? Would forfeit my right to any assets, etc?

You are not forfeiting anything!
If you have a reason to move, then move. I assume the house is a marital asset and you will share in anyway. Sounds like no children in the picture so you don't need the house for them to stay in, right?
There are no negative ramifications that I can think of.

No. Leaving the marital residence should have no effect on the eventual outcome of a divorce and/or property rights of either party. Generally, the only exception would be for a judge to determine what the value of staying in the residence might be versus the cost of maintaining the residence during the period of litigation.
