can my wife,who resides in n.car..file for seperation,which is not recognized in florida,and receive assets from our home in florida

You'll have to ask a North Carolina lawyer that question, but you should know that separation, called "action for separate maintenance" does exist in Florida. Many people, including some lawyers, believe that separation does not exist in Florida as a legal action. This is not true.
