Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I served my husband with a dissolution of marriage. On the 21st day [July 8th] I filed a motion for default. The default was decided by the clerk of court. Now on the 15th I received paperwork stating my husband is now being represented by an attorney and the answer was mailed on July 9th, 1 day after the default was granted.
Is it likely that the default will now be overturned?

Most likely once a new attorney has entered the case the default will be set aside after a hearing on Motion to Set Aside Default, which this attorney will be filing or should be filing shortly.
