Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I served the other parent and together we agreed to a visitation agreement until our next mediation in June. Now she is saying that I have to think about her (Mother's) feelings because she may think its too early for me to take our daughter unsupervised for a few hours (10-4) even tho before the whole court situation started i have spent a few consistant days with our daughter and took her to the park alone at times. My main question is what if since we already agreed that i get her unsupervised 3 weeks from now (and is on paper) yet she disagrees that i shouldn't, What should be done that day? Can i be denied my unsupervised visitation because the mother feels our daughter isn't ready? What if the child cries for the mother at the time? Should a police officer be called prior to pick up? Anything would help, I am doing this for the best interest for our daughter and as much as it's embarrassing that we are in this situation, I would appreciate feedback from the right people so that this situation is taken care of the right way.

You really need to talk to an attorney! Water Cooler law may do you in.

Grandparents have no rights in Florida; she should not be interfering. If your agreement is in writing tell Mom you want the child as agreed, if she refuses, request the local police assist you. Report this incident to your Judge. Get an attorney; disputes caused by grandparents can be a killer and very expensive; after all the grandparent is protecting their grandchild and they usually don't care what they spend to protect the child.

Unfortunately, the police will rarely get involved in these types of disputes. If you and the mother entered into an agreement in writing that has been filed with the court and mother is unwilling to abide by the agreement, your recourse is to file a Motion for Contempt after she fails to abide by the agreement.
