I served my ex with a TPO on 1-4-13. he filed a counter claim with an attorney right sfter? what does this mean and do I need a lawyer now?

I agree with Mr. Slater. However, it would also depend on how well versed you are in your rights. If I can be of assistance, please contact my office for an appointment. I should tell you that if he has retained an attorney, it would be in your best interest to do so as well. There are no do overs once you are in the courtroom.
