If you can prove that your ex-husband is committing any type of abuse on your children, then you can motion the court for a modification in order for you to have sole custody. You may also obtain sole custody if he is not adhering to his parental responsibilities or if he is attempting to alienate the children from you. Once again, you would need to file a motion for modification of the final judgment of dissolution of marriage. Good luck to you.
