Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My ex and I have a shared custody, can I move out of state?

Look at your Final Judgment from the divorce case. See if it addressed relocating out of State. If not, then you need to either get the Court's permission (Supp. Petition For Modification), or your ex's permission done in accordance with the applicable statute. I suggest you goggle Florida Statute 61.13001.
If you opt to proceed without the assistance of counsel, be aware that you will not be entitled to a do over if things go badly.

An internet inquiry is no substitution for an in-office consultation with an attorney.

Under Florida Law you have to get written consent or an order from the court prior to moving out of state. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659
Depending on the issue if it was addressed in your final decree - I suggest you file a petition for relocation. If I can be of assistance, please contact my office for an appointment.
