Sharing holidays during divorce

In a bitter divorce, are there any laws determining exact times that a parent should have their children for a holiday that is specified in a divorce agreement?

Re: Sharing holidays during divorce

The law states that visitation shall be reasonable. Hopefully the parties can devise a written agreement at mediation which states the dates and times of visitation, if not, the case goes before the Judge and the Judge decides. Usually visitation for holidays the parents split the major holidays and alternate this schedule using even and odd numbered years. Others split the holiday in half. Remember, whatever you decide will effect the children forever. Always keep in mind the children's best interests.
