Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am about to sign the Marital Settlement Agreement. It says that both parties are satisfied with the financial documents that they have shown. However both attorneys agreed that my husband did not come forward with everything. My settlement is not much and most of it will go towards legal costs . It is hard for me to sign something which I do not believe is true, but I can not afford to go to trial. Is there anything I can do about the wording of this part of the settlement.?

You can sign it, or you can refuse to sign it. Before deciding, your best option is to probably get a 2nd opinion from another attorney.

If you cannot afford to litigate then you have no choice but to settle or at least have an attorney review the agreement and advise you. Contact my office for free consultation. 727-446-7659
