Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I signed over temporary guardianship of my son to my mother 03/2015 that was only valid for a year. My mother and her husband have since filed a petition for temporary guardianship by extended family member that I was served with 03/28/2016. I have now run out of time to submit my response to the court and they will be granted the guardianship against my wishes. What are my options to get my son back?

Go ahead and submit your response. If the hearing has not occurred, the judge will read it. Be sure to go to the hearing as well.

You need to see an attorney ASAP. At a minimun file a Motion to Set Aside Default.
