Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My sister in law lives in Ohio and her children have been taken by The Department of Children and Families. Feb. 1st she goes to court to see if she can have her girls back. My question is can I get custody of the children if I live in Fl? (The girls live with an Aunt on the Father's side and the Father is in jail.)
