Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My sister is unfit to raise her baby and the father of child is on the run from police. My sister went with a older woman to florida for a vacation with the child and the "friend" of my sisters hit my sister, threw her out of the house, and refuses to give up the baby. We called police for assault and kidnapping but they refused to do anything about since my sister took off. We called dhs and had them start an investigation on the woman but apparently she got a judge to give her temp custody. How does my family get custody of the child from the stranger and prove the mother unfit legally?

File a Petition for Guardianship and move to vacate temporary custody order.
