Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
The situation is that the custodial parent's Mother and Father program the
child to reject her mother,so that now the child doesn't even want to talk
to her on the phone, the child is almost six, and this has been going on
and we have had nowhere to turn for help. The mother of this child is a good
mother and sweetperson, but the courts and custodial parent and his
family have had their way even to deny visitation, and now have the child
convinced not to see her mother. at onepoint they even had told her to
kick and hit her mother, what can be done ? really ?

That is really a sad situation. I recommend the Mother file a Petition for Modification that will allow her to visit with the minor child. She can request standard visitation and state that Father has no valid reasons to deny her unsupervised standard visitation. Unless she's a threat to herself and the minor child, I think she has a chance to at least start with supervised visitation if there is some sort of threat to well-being of the child. If no threat exists at least the Court can grant her standard visitation so that she can build a relationship with the minor child.
