Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Sole custody
Divorced two years. At the time, shared legal and me being primary custodial parent.
Since then, court approved relocation and we live 1200 miles from ex.
Not involved, hardly calls, and doesn't pay child support. (pursuing through DOR.)
Is there any advantage to me filing for sole custody or has the court in effect given me that when they approved relocation.
He is 18k in arrears and is not involved in childrens lives (and weren't before we left either.)

Re: Sole custody
Sole custody will remove his visitation rights, but, since he isn't exercising his rights, I doubt that it's worth your time to file the lawsuit for sole custody.
Sole custody has no effect on your right to get current or back child support.
