Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I have had sole custody of my son since birth. He is a year old now, the father was incarcerated for the first months of our sons life. He is not on the birth certificate and is a convicted felon on probation for the next 10 years. I have stayed in the area hoping he will step up as a father, which he hasn't and has not payed child support. I have not been able to make ends meet and packed up and moved in-state to be around my family who can finacially help me while I look for a place and job. What is the likely hood that the court will make me move back to that county and grant him joint custody? I am asking for sole custody and visitation for him...

I have no idea what your odds are, but I can say this much:
Chance of a relocation being granted in Florida: very slim (you'll probably have to move back)
Chance of a parent being awarded child support if he/she gets custody: 99.99%
Chance of sole custody in a Florida case: very, very slim.
Chance of joint custody where other parent gets every other weekend or so: very, very high.
