Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My son was taken away from me and I completed all the steps and my case has been closed but,since he was placed with his father therefore,I was not able to be reunified with him. My son is 9 years old and is being left home alone. I don't have a regular visitation schedule due to his fathers controlling issues. We have had a issue with domestic violence and in the past he's I've had to get protective orders to get him to leave me alone. How can I get my son back or atleast some kind of structured visitation. Since he is so controlling he will not let myson stay the night. He is manipulating him,just like he used to do to me.

You haven't provided enough information about your case for me to advise you. At the least, it appears you are entitled to visitation, but I can't say if you are entitled to overnight visitation. You'll need to hire a family law attorney to assist you.
Need more info - if the case was closed and you completed the steps why are you not able to have your son in your care?
