Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My son and daughter-in-law were divorced about a year ago. It was not pleasant and apparently they are at it again. The problem is, today my wife received 21 text messages from our ex daughter-in-law regarding their problems. We have told her we aren't involved and don't want to be involved. Funny, we're not allowed to call and speak to our 2 granddaughters. Is there any way to stop her from harassing us?

As long as she's not breaking any law, there isn't much you can do legally. If she threatens or harms you, or if the attempts to contact you to the point it rises to the level of stalking, you may want to seek an injunction for protection against her. My Verizon cell phone allows me to block text messages from certain numbers. Maybe your wife's cell phone service allows this as well.
