Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I have a son in which the father ever denied even being the father. when the child was about 1 he served me me court papers for paternity, i responded with my answer, He is an unfit father and has never done or cared about anything pertaining the child and he is also a drug user and drug seller. I want this man far away from my son, the child has only my last name and i'm the only one listed on the birth certificate. Since then I moved to texas ive been here for almost two years my mother gets my mail back home and i have recived court papers to go to a hearing i have yet to attend and will not attend they have sent about three final hearings. my question is if i keep not attending will i be at danger with the system

You will lose by default. Do not ignore legal process.
If you responded with an answer then you have waived your right to jurisdiction. You need to contact the court and tell them you will appear by telephone.
Looks like you may have an issue of subject matter jurisdiction if you have been in TX with the child for 2 years. Contact my office for free consultation.
