Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Son is 30 He cant get FlDrivers lic renewed because of new Fl law. Birth cert has my last name I was married and not to his father. A year later at an office filled out forms and sent for his birth cert. got it back certifide. I thought name changed was legal. Until I got a call son saying he need document showing name change.

No sure what you filled out. Sounds like you just ordered a certified copy of your son's birth certification which shows the name at the time of birth. In order to change the name he would have to file for a name change and receive an Order from the court allowing that and in turn the certifiicate would be changed.
