Can my son in law keep my daughters ashs ? i want to bury them ,have the family have a place to visit . he refuses to give them up.she passed 1/24/07

Did your daughter leave a will? What were her wishes. If she died without a will, did she specify her wishes to anyone. You may have to litigate this matter in order to obtain them. Remember the Terry Shiavo case - he (the husband) was in complete control. Try to work this out with him.
