My son lives with his mother and wants to come live with me, there is no court order of custody. What is the quickest way for me to get termporary or full custody of him?

If his mother agrees, he can just come live with you. But the better practice would be for you and the mother to agree to a parenting plan which sets out exactly how the two of you will handle things, then have the order ratified by the court. A lawyer or mediator should be able to help you with this fairly inexpensively.
