Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My son is 3. The setup thus far has always been every other weekend he has not missed many visitations lately but in the beginning he did often. We are now in disagreement because he wants to keep his son more but his girlfriend will have to keep him while he works and she has a perfectly working cell phone that she wont allow me to have the number to. Because of this I have refused. Will this make me look bad in court? In child time sharing is there anything that says they can withhold my way of communication with my son?
