Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

can i take our son out of state for 1 week (christmas) to see my side of the family? divorse petition just filed on dec. 2nd. i received the petition yesterday. Is there anything she can do to stop this from happening. or is there anything i can do to stop her from trying to stop this?

Generally absent a claim of relocation you are allowed to have interstate travel. With that being said she can file an objection if she feels that you will try and flee the state.
