Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

if i have a son that will soon be 17 and can emancipate himself as an adult.i am the primary custody parent.he wants to live with his dad for 6 months,i don\'t think this would be of the best interest for my son.dad doesn\'t keep a good eye on him.i\'m afraid he will end up like his brother and have to get married because of inpregnanting someone.i don\'t want this for my youngest.how would emancipation affect my alimony,i get permament alimony.married 25 plus years. son is in a christian private school here with me.he hated public school.he is making wonderful grades here.does emancipation take him from my and his dads control financially?he has never wanted for anything, nor has any of his other brothers,we weren\'t\nrich but we worked hard to provide for them all.

Given that emancipation in Florida requires both parents' permission, how could he get a court order of emancipation in Florida?

That aside, why would his emancipation affect your alimony? Obviously, your child support would stop if he moved out due to emancipation, but what would alimony have to do with it?
