Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My son is 18 years old and has had constant contact with his daughter since she was born 11 months ago. She actually had a full nursery set up at his house and the mothers house. He has provided her healthcare all formula and anything else the mother has asked of him. For the first 6 months he was in HS and now is in College and also works Part Time. They are now separated and at first she only allowed him to see his daughter one day a week and every other Saturday. He didn't want to rock the boat until they filed any court papers they needed too, so he agreed. Then one day she got angry with him and has refused him ALL contact with his daughter. This is killing him because she has a lawyer that managers her trust fund that is using every stall tactic in the book and it has now been 5 weeks since he has laid eyes on his daughter after almost daily contact. Any suggestions, since he does not have the unlimited funds she has to keep this in the courts forever? With so many women complaining about dads who do not want to pat child support I can not even imagine what she is trying to do with all this. He has offered everything including visitation with the lawyer present, but she won't budge on anything.

He need to file a petition to establish paternity and then he can file for visitation.
