Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My son is 18 years old and in jail, and will be in jail for sometime. i owe about 3000 in arrears, do i still have to pay that money to the mother. or can there be some kind of trust set for when he gets out so my son get his money? can i file for a motion to stop the arrears payments to his mother?
