My son is 17 years old and he wants to go stay with his mother. I have the custody of my son. Do I have to pay child support?

The child support has nothing to do with the other issue. If there is a court order in place for you to pay child support, then you must pay. If your son goes to live with his mother, you can petition the court to review the amount you are required to pay for child support, but if son goes to live with mom, your child support obligation would probably increase.
Lastly, if your custody agreement states that son lives with you, you have the right to insist that son continue to live with you until he turns 18, at which point he can legally make his own decisions.
