Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My sons father is getting a lump some of 10,000 because of an accident. He has never paid child support he owes over 13,000. They won't give him the money because of back child support. Does my son get his lump sum sense he owes???

yes, you should get some type of order that intercepts the settlement and gives the money to you and the son. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659-

IF this is back child support the funds go to you NOT your son. The purpose of child support is to help you with the raising of the child. If you wish to give your son money, that would be your choice. He has no standing to bring an action to file suit against his father for back support. If I can be of assistance, please contact my office for an appointment 904-997-1031
