Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My son's girlfriend is having issues with her 2 year old's grandparents. The father wants nothing to do with the boy but 2 months ago his parents wanted to visit their grandson. Dom has been very good about letting him see the grandparents but now they are demanding more time and demanding he spend Christmas with them. They threatened her tonight stating that no one is going to be called daddy but their son(who wants no part of the boy) and she will not post pictures to facebook of the boy and my son together. She is not allowed to bring her son down to us over Christmas. Dom is also noticing that the boy is being hostile to my son after he returns from a visit. Makes sense now that the grandfather makes clear that my son is not to be involved in the little boy's life. What are her options? She tried to be nice and let a relationship develop but now they are becoming abusive and turning the boy against my son.

I never attempt to respond to third party inquiries. Too many mistakes. Mom should post her own question.

There's no reason that mom needs to let a relationship develop with the parents of the father, when the father wants nothing to do with the child. In short, they have no rights. And your son, who apparently is not the father, has no rights either The best thing is to let Mom and the Dad decide together how to raise the boy, who the boy is going to visit, etc., and if Dad is not going to have any involvement, then Mom and Mom alone.

uNLESS THE BIO DAD APPLIES FOR RIGHTS FOR VISITATION, THE MOM DOES NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. THE GRANDPARENTS HAVE NO RIGHTS TO THE CHILD AND ALL VISITATION SHOULD CEASE UNTIL THE COURT ORDER'S DIFFERENTLY.
