Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Me and my son's mother broke up while she was pregnant and she moved to Florida, and when my son was born I had no money to get there because I got fired a month before so my name is not on the birth certificate. He is 3 months old now and I still haven;t been able to see him yet but his mother just informed me that I have no rights to him at all and that she doesn't want me to be a part of his life at all. And I don't have a job right now so I can't file for paternity with the court but if I did what would happen then? She said that because I haven't seen my son since he was born and haven't paid child support or paid for anything like formula and diapers that I have no rights and she can remove me from his life completely. She is also with some guy that buys my son all the stuff he needs and she also said that I show no interest because I don't call her and ask about him, but I talk to all my friends about him. Is there anything I can do to stop her from taking me out of my sons life?

Yep! Man up dude! Get a good paying job or any job, find a family court attorney and start making payments to get a paternity suit filed and get visitation rights. Start sending some money by money order so you have a receipt - even $5.00 is better than nothing.
