Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

When I split from my child's father, we came to an agreement that he would provide private school to my daughter and that I would take care of everything else. We put this agreement on paper and had it notarized. I am now married to another man, who has my daughter and myself on his insurance plan through his employer. Recently, his employer conducted an audit and notified him that he needed to provide a court order showing that he is legally obligated to provide my daughter with insurance. My question is: Is he legally obligated to provide her insurance, how can I get paperwork from the courts to substatiate this and satisfy the insurance company's request.

I believe your employer is going a bit to far. As long as this child is a legal dependent, the child can be added to the insurance policy.

Have your attorney write to his employer. A birth certificate and a copy of the agreement should suffice.
