In the state of Florida what is the process if a parent is avoiding being served its been a little over a month now that we've been trying to serve the mother of my husband's daughter her parents have concurrent custody and they have been served she does know about it because she posted on social media all the time but every time they go to serve her she hides out in her house and will not answer the door

unfortunately you will need to hire a private detective. You will need someone who can sit and watch and follow her and serve her at a store on in the driveway when she does come out of the house. I have a great one that I use who once was left in a box on the front porch from a delivery. When the person came out to investigate - well you know the rest. Served!
