Proof of the legal guardians' domicile is required when enrolling a child in a particular school (to make sure you live in the corresponding zone). So, you will need something like a driver's license and an electric bill with your name and the address in question. Furthermore, the legal guardians have papers to sign. If you can manage those two things long distance, you can probably enroll the child from where you are. Call the school in question and ask them how you can handle this. I suspect they will tell you that you need to show a lease (to show that you are indeed going to live there) and tell you that you have plenty of time to enroll. Tell them about your situation and see what they say.

The more important issue is how you are legally going to move the child there. You have to get consent from the other parent or permission from the court before doing so. If this has to go to court, I strongly advise you to get an attorney.
