Is there a statue of limitations on alimony froma a previous marriage where the alimony was stopped and never contested for the past 25 years?

Sort of. It's not exactly a statute of limitations. It's a thing called "laches" (pronounced "latches"). Laches says that you can't sit around forever then expect to go get alimony after many, many years have passed. The exact number of years isn't defined. The law just says, "too long." I'm sure any judge would agree that 25 years is "too long."
