Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Stepfather / family desperate for relocation

My wife divorced approximately 9 years ago, we have been married close to 5 now. I have 2 stepchildren, 1 more with my wife, and 1 on the way. With a growing family, financially our best move would be to relocate to a city 4 hours away. Ex-husband rarely sees his kids and does not follow any of the child support and visitation specs by the divorce decree, not to mention he would never agree for us to move his kids away. Being this would be an optional move, not mandated by my employer, would we even have a chance at being awarded different visitation specs - such as having the children for the school year and their father for the summers??
