step-parent adoption
My husband would like to adopt my daughter. I am the only name on my daughters cert since her biological father has not been involved in her life at all. What is required to get started in this process?

If you are certain nothing has been filed with the office of vital statistics from a possible father, then you can start the process with your attorney. If you are not going to use an attorney, you need to file the petition yourself.
