Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

What steps does my husband have to take if he is almost done with his child support obligation for one child. If he can agree with his ex on an amount for the remaining child what will he need to do to accomplish this. Do we need to go to court? Or can we file a standard motion to the original divorce agreement? If she doesn't agree to an amount, what do we need to do? File a modification? If this is the case, would you be kind enough to tell me if the Florida court would consider the finances of supporting the 2 additional children we have together when determining the amount he will owe for the remaining time on his son's child support?

You will need to file a Supplemental Petition to modify the child support amount. The new child support amount will be based on each party's current net income. The courts do not really take any additional children into account unless there is a child support order in place.
