Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

stop child support

We've been paying child support to my husbands exwife for their daughter. She is about to turn 21 and we are still paying even though she left her moms house at 18 and came to live with us. She is in college and attending a university out of state. The daughter claims that her mom is not giving her any money to support her college expenses. What can we do?

Re: stop child support

Unless your divorce judgment or settlement agreement requires it, you need not pay child support for 21-year-old. If your paper work does require it, you should speak to a lawyer about having the child support terminated.
