Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

It's our stuff , but he said he would have me arrested

I moved from MS to FL in July 2005. I brought many of my belongings and put them in a storage unit my husband had rented. He has had the storage unit for 6 months. Didn't bring everything , because we didn't have a house , yet. We are now looking at divorcing , because of undisclosed information that would have prevented me from moving if I had known ahead of time. (We have been married 11 years, separated once). I want to get my belongings (that I bought when separated) out of the storage unit. He said I would be arrested if I went by myself and got the stuff out without him being there.

Is what he is telling me accurate?

Thanks

You need to file what's called a "Replevin" action. Our lawsuit course will help.
