Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Subject: Please advisee of parental rights

I am living with a woman that I beleive is pregenant with my child she is in her third tri-mester. She is now saying that she doesn't want My name on the childs birth cirtficate . How do I Find out if the child is mine. and if so what legal rights do I have as a father?

Please advise me !!!

If the two of you agree that you are the father then an agreement can be prepared and filed with the other required documents. If you are the father, you have the right to have your name on the birth certificate. If she does not cooperate than you can always file a Paternity Action asking that the court find that you are the father. I would hope that you could work this out since you are living together. If not, you can file that action.
