Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have submitted a Petition for Modification of Child Support (reduce). Since submitting this I found a new law that changes the guidelines that reduce the child support obligation even further. I have filed the amended Child Support Guidelines Worksheet but I need to know if I have to file an amended Petition since the original petition was based on the old guideline calculations?

If the court does not ask you to amend the petition, then just amending the child support guidelines worksheet should be sufficient.
