Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Submitted question-How does the court decide how much should be paid every month in retroactive child support? This is for the 2 years prior to filing the court action? Do they take the total and then spread it out over the years until the chld is 18?

Given answer "its set by statue". Didn't really answer question.

I've checked the statutes and it only says that the court will decide on a payment plan. I wanted to know how the court decides on the actual amount. It does not appear to be a formula, or based on anything.

Also, Hearing Officer ordered NCP to pay 1/2 medical bills- but its not documented in the final order. Since it was a DOR case, how do we get the final order corrected?

The court would have required financial affidavits and based on the income, would have calculated an amount that would be reasonable.
